The Westbrook Historical Society is a volunteer-led nonprofit 509 (a) (2) organization dedicated to sharing Westbrook’s history through continued research, collections, programs, and publications.
Our mission is to…
- Acquire, preserve and display documents, relics, and records relating to the history of Westbrook.
- Mark, by suitable monuments and inscriptios, places of historical interest.
- Perpetuate the memory of the original settlers of Westbrook.
- Promote the study of the history of Westbrook and encourage interest in it.
- Stimulate and promote community activity in preserving historical articles, sites, and buildings.
